This is a rare bolt of Japanese-made Kurume Kasuri fabric. Originally, this fabric was used to make domestically produced Monpe (work pants) for women for many years. It was purchased directly from the manufacturer. This is unused, so there are no creases, wrinkles, or pinholes. Because it is a properly woven Kasuri fabric, the pattern appears clearly on the back side as well. (Unlike inexpensive printed fabrics) It is stored in a factory, so there may be some odor and dust.
