This is a set of Yokozuna-named yunomi (teacups) from the late 90s sumo wrestling era. The names of the three Yokozuna of the time, Takanohana, Wakanohana, and Akebono, are inscribed on them. It is likely that these were sold as souvenirs at the Kokugikan (National Sumo Arena) or similar venues, but the details are unknown. This is a set of 4 yunomi, one short of the original 5-piece set, featuring a celadon-and-white Japanese design.
