This is a Barber-type chinrest made of Indian ebony. Indian ebony is a rare and valuable wood that is difficult to obtain. Size: Length 11.0 cm, Width 5.5 cm, Height 2.3 cm, Weight 55 grams. Finished with a glass coat, which is a new technology that converts silicon and silica, the raw materials of glass, into a liquid, instead of solvent-based finishes such as varnish, urethane, or lacquer. It is an eco-friendly paint. Our workshop is the only one that uses a glass coat for chinrests.
