This is a gently bright, pale yellow Nagoya obi made of high-quality silk shioze fabric, featuring a boldly designed magenta peony in a framed construction. There is some evidence of use. There is a thin, linear stain on the lower edge (tare-saki), a thin stain near the top of the otaiko (back of the obi), and a tiny, pinpoint-sized stain on the first wrap of the body (domi-maki). However, I believe these are not critical to wear. This obi is easy to tie and drapes well. Would you consider using the bold design for remaking or handicrafts?
