This is a mbira made by Mr. Gift Rushambwa. It has spring keys, so they are stiff, but it resonates well. I don't like uneven keys, so I chose one with neatly arranged tines. The width is about 17.5 cm. The majaka (buzzing elements) make a pleasant chirping and buzzing sound, which blends well with the tone of the keys. I removed the burrs and treated it with beeswax, so it has a feel that makes you not want to let go. I spent a lot of time carefully selecting this mbira, so it's a shame to part with it, but I'm selling it due to circumstances. I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
