The design is based on the "Small Bookshelf" that was introduced and sold in the magazine *K暮らしの手帖* (Kurashi no Techo), and it is handmade for home use. Jindai cedar is a very rare wood that has spent hundreds or thousands of years underground before being unearthed. It is no longer harvested. Because it is unpainted, you can enjoy the natural color and gentle grain of the wood. While it is not flashy, it is a quiet and honest bookshelf that can tidy up a space just by holding a few books. Each one is handmade, so no two are exactly alike. Size (approx.) On the back, there is writing left by my father, the maker, in yellow chalk, indicating the material "Jindai cedar."
