This is a "Karaori" (brocade) obi (sash) from the long-established Nishijin-ori silk weaver, Tomiya. The ground color is a white-dirty white, a mix of white and gray. The Karaori, using various colored threads, demonstrates the high level of skill. It can be worn with formal kimono such as "homongi" (visiting kimono) and "iromuji" (single-colored kimono). The price includes tailoring. The length is approximately 440cm. It takes about 1 to 10 days to tailor.
