The legs can be folded compactly, so it doesn't take up much space when stored. It can be set up very easily without tools, and weighs about 1.2kg. A storage bag is included, making it easy to carry around for concerts and other events. Conventional stands had the drawback of not being foldable, but this has been overcome. It is a stand with excellent functionality that eliminates the worry of falling over, and is loved by many musicians because of its price, which is around 3,500 yen. ■ Special rubber that fits perfectly and protects the instrument The stability of the stand is of course important, but it's no good if the instrument is damaged every time it's used. The DS543BB uses special rubber called SFF (Special Formulated Foam) on the parts that touch the instrument, protecting the instrument from the impact that occurs when using the stand. This rubber fits the instrument perfectly, preventing scratches and dents. It comes with two pegs for flute and clarinet, and one peg for piccolo, and in addition to these instruments, it can also be used for tenor, soprano, and alto saxophones if they are thin. If your instrument doesn't fit, you can purchase a separately sold peg.
