Thank you for viewing! This item was made from fabric that was dyed with persimmon tannin at home, using a large fishing flag that appears to have been used in actual fishing. Large fishing flags often have colorful designs, and since they are actually used, there were some stains and color fading that couldn't be removed. However, by dyeing them, the fabric gained a more subdued and calm color. The fabric of the fishing flag was a bit thin, so I used a medium-weight fabric interfacing for the crown and a thicker fabric interfacing for the brim. The lining is made of moss green cotton fabric. A chin strap has been added to prevent it from blowing away. Stitching has been applied to the brim and crown as much as possible. While it can be washed at home, hand washing is recommended. The brim opens almost horizontally, so it doesn't obstruct your view. How about it for outdoor outings? It can be folded and carried.
