This is tentatively a 505, 66前期 (66 pre-faded). I was listing it as a regular 66前期, but I will correct that! I had a feeling something was off since I bought it. The texture felt rough, and I wondered if the surface of a 66 was this coarse in a good way... The dark color of the jeans and the feel are like a 501xx or Big E... And then I checked the selvedge, and it was single-stitched on both sides... A 66前期 should have single-stitch on the top and chain stitch on the bottom... My guess is that the fabric was sewn during the 501xx or Big E era, and somehow it was used during the 66 era. I can't think of any other explanation. It's a 66 with a red tab with a small "e," but the fabric and construction are Big E. I think it's very valuable. I've only seen one other pair of 66前期 like this in the past. That one was a 501, but the situation was the same. (The data is still available from my sold items.) The color remains at about 80% in the darker areas. The fabric is sturdy. I believe it's the original length. And the red tab and inner tag are still clearly visible. I don't think you'll find a product in this condition very often. Please take this opportunity.
