Product Name: "Kinkan Soh-o Kin Sakura" 4-piece set Kobaen Solid Ink These are rare, antique inks manufactured in 1978 (Showa 53) and 1979 (Showa 54). As they are vintage items, there is age-related deterioration in the wrapping paper and paulownia wood box. The gold-wrapped ink is prone to paint peeling. Please refer to the photos and only purchase if you understand this. It is said that solid ink is better to use after it has aged for many years rather than immediately after manufacture, as it makes writing smoother and allows for richer expression through changes in bleeding and ink color. These were carefully collected by my grandparents, who ran a stationery store during their lifetime. I would be very happy if these inks could reach someone who can make wonderful works of art with them.
