There are no noticeable scratches, and the guides are clean, so I think you can use them with peace of mind. The purchase date is unknown, but it is from after the new child cast version was released. Compared to the latest Blu-ray samples, the video and music do feel older, but it doesn't seem to matter much to children, and they enjoyed watching it.
