This is a rectangular, vertically-oriented ceramic vase. The coloring is understated, with a simple, tasteful design that looks like green-tea-colored glaze has been dripped from the top. The bottom half has no glaze, allowing you to feel the texture of the clay, which is unique to ceramics. The square opening makes this vase perfect for quickly arranging pampas grass or branches, creating a nice atmosphere. It's recommended for Japanese-style rooms, entryways, alcoves, and as an interior accent in calm spaces. The bottom has the mark "Tou-Kichi" (please see the photos). I displayed it in my entryway without any flowers. As it has been stored at home for a long time, there may be minor scratches, etc., due to storage.
