This is a set of 4 chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) containers. These are heavy, retro-style ceramics with a lovely plum blossom design. There are variations in the shading of the pattern, but this is part of the original design. Diameter: Approximately 8 cm Height: Approximately 8 cm Lid Diameter: Approximately 8.5 cm Lid Height: Approximately 3 cm They were stored in a cupboard. They have been used very little and are in beautiful condition.
