I purchased this deadstock at a Koenji vintage clothing store and wore it often, so there is some wear and tear, such as pilling and scratches on the zipper, but it can still be worn. As the weather gets warmer, it can still get chilly in the mornings and evenings, so it can be worn as a light jacket. It can be worn as a cold weather liner for the ECWCS Gore-Tex parka, or as an outer layer. It uses thicker Polartec fleece than the Gen 3 fleece jacket. The front has a double zipper closure. There are ventilation zippers under the arms. The hem can be tightened with a drawcord. The shoulders and elbows, which are prone to wear, are reinforced with patches.
