The bridge on the 4th string side was damaged. I stripped the paint and repainted it, and repaired the crack on the back with a patch (see photos 12 and 13). I attached a piece of bridge plate to hold the strings (see photo 7). The whole thing has been over-lacquered and looks beautiful. This is a vintage ukulele made in the 1960s with wooden pegs.
