Thank you for viewing. This is a Yamaha SA60 semi-acoustic guitar with an original Yamaha design, and it comes with the original hard case (see photos 14, 17). Considering it's a 50-year-old guitar, I think it's in good condition. * Body: Birch + Beech * Neck: Maple * Fingerboard: Rosewood * Semi-hollow construction with a center block. It's the original cutaway design before the Gibson ES-335 model, and the bridge and tailpiece are also different from the 335. The tailpiece is leather-covered, and it originally had a Yamaha medal. Although all the others I've seen for sale are missing the medal, I will include it in the pocket of the hard case. (See photo 16) It has a unique, "bizarre" charm! ① The sound is a straightforward, Yamaha-like tone without any quirks. ② The neck is straight, and the truss rod has room to spare in both directions. I've confirmed that it can be turned more than 90 degrees in the tightening direction. ③ The frets have about 80% life remaining, and there are no buzzing or dead spots. Octave adjustment has been done. (See photos 10, 11) ④ There are almost no noticeable scratches, but there is some clouding on the metal parts. Please refer to the photos for the scratches on the top of the headstock and the neck (see photos 7, 9). ⑤ There is shrinkage due to aging on the nut and neck binding. (See photos 5, 10, 11) ⑥ There are paint lines on the neck heel, but they do not reach the wood, and there has been no change for over 30 years. (See photos 12, 13) ⑦ There is no crackling in the controls, but it feels a little heavy when turning, possibly due to the aging of the grease. ⑧ The saddle is made of resin, so the sustain is a bit low, but the sound quality is soft. ⑨ The hard case has a tear in the heel pin area and damage to the sponge, and it has been protected with a double layer of rubber sheets. Also, the black synthetic leather belt that was originally on the outside of the aluminum part of the case is mostly gone due to peeling. (See photos 19, 20) Due to the above conditions, please refrain from purchasing if you are a perfectionist. The guitar will be placed in the hard case, protected to prevent rattling, and the hard case will be packed with air cushioning (bubble wrap) for shipping.
