Figurine "Emily" commissioned by Ringtons, a long-established British tea merchant, from Coalport. New in box with certificate of edition number. Limited production of 5000 pieces, No. 1981. Designed by Jack Glynn, a ceramic doll artist at Coalport. Emily is dressed in a pink dress in the Edwardian style, which was popular at the time of Ringtons' founding in 1907. She is depicted at an afternoon tea party. Holding a teacup is very characteristic of Ringtons. The packing material inside the box is still in place, so it can be stored with peace of mind (Photos 14, 15). (Last photo) Please note that the box has scuff marks on the back corners and some overall sun fading. The item is new and therefore shiny and sparkling.
