✨Until January 9th✨ This is a lined kimono with a pattern that combines a sharkskin (samekomon) design with a wave pattern. The lining (hakkake) is vermilion, and the outer fabric is similar in color, but it has a gentle hue due to the small white dots of the sharkskin pattern. Bold wave patterns are drawn on top, adding a youthful vigor. I took this with me when I lived abroad and wore it twice, pairing it with a gold and vermilion obi. I received many compliments and it's one of my favorite kimonos, but since returning to Japan, I've been busy raising children and haven't had the chance to wear it. Shortening the sleeves to 49cm would be a shame, so I'm offering it for sale hoping someone will wear it with the long sleeves. I think it's in pretty good condition, but since it's been stored for years, it's listed as "Like New" rather than "Unused," but I've marked it as "No noticeable scratches or stains." The vermilion color appears stronger under lighting, but I think photo 1 is the closest to the actual color in natural light.
