This is an old musical instrument made in the former East Germany. I acquired it used nearly 40 years ago and have kept it in storage for a long time, mostly in the same condition as when I bought it. It's a raw brass instrument (no lacquer), and there are marks from water droplets, sweat, etc., on the oxidized surface, so it doesn't look great. However, the rotary valves and slides are not stuck, and there are no issues with playing. The instrument itself is very light, and it produces a soft sound characteristic of raw brass rotary valve instruments. There is a slight dent where the brace (finger hook) meets the bell's neck. The cork on the rotary valve stoppers had deteriorated, so I replaced them with rubber, but the rotary valve adjustment is not perfect. If you are concerned, please have it repaired and adjusted. A silver 950 slide tone ring is attached, and I will send it as is (as a bonus). No mouthpiece or case is included. I will use an old case that came with another instrument for shipping. This is being sold due to the acquisition of another instrument. Please understand that this is an "as is" sale of an old instrument.
