I purchased it assuming the material was genuine silk, so I have listed it as silk. Please check the images. I have washed and deconstructed this once and remade it. I am familiar with Western tailoring, but I do not have knowledge of Japanese tailoring or kimonos, so I do not know the details. There is a possibility of color transfer, so we recommend washing it separately in a net. It is safer to keep the soaking time short. Also, ironing is possible at a medium setting.
