It may be difficult to see, but as shown in the photos, there are a few small bubbles or paint imperfections on the lid and pot, but they are not scratches. I was told it could be used in the microwave when I received it, and I found out that it can also be used with IH and gas stoves, but I'm not sure because there are no instructions.
