I inked it once with Iroshizuku Yama-guri (chestnut) ink when I bought it to test it, then cleaned it and stored it. There is a black line on the barrel, but it is not a stain; it is the unique grain of Yakusugi wood. All accessories are included. The cap is a slip-on type. Perhaps because it's a slip-on cap and the nib is the older 3776 model, I felt it dried out a little quickly. I will package it to prevent water damage before shipping.
