(Photos 1 and 2, price is for two beaters) Because it uses a squishy polyurethane softball, the sound is significantly more subdued than a regular beater. Although subdued, the attack sound is still barely audible, making it perfect for practice or small venue gigs. It should also be usable with a double pedal. (Confirmed with Pearl/P2002C in photos 3 and 4) Compatibility with brands other than Pearl is unknown. The shaft is 6mm, so it fits older 6mm pedals and recent 6.35mm pedals (see photos 3 and 4). It can be used with most pedals because it can be securely tightened even with 6.35mm pedals. Because these are handmade, there may be slight variations from one to another.
