Thank you for viewing! This is a piece of antique mirror work embroidered fabric purchased in Pushkar, Rajasthan, India, over a decade ago. I'm not sure what this fabric was originally used for, but it has loops along the edges, suggesting it may have been a tapestry or a cloth to cover luggage during travel. It's quite old, so the embroidery thread has deteriorated, and there are signs of repair (the thread color is noticeably different). The metal parts of the mirror work have rust, and the fabric as a whole has faded to a brownish color. There are also signs of repair, broken threads, tears in the fabric, blue stains on the back, and faint Hindi writing (on the fabric?). Beyond that, it has a charming, antique-like aging that has accumulated over time in the sands and winds of Rajasthan. It's sure to instantly enhance the atmosphere if displayed as a tapestry on a wall. The images were taken in natural light to best represent the actual colors, but please understand that the colors may appear different depending on the lighting and the device you are using. This is a very old item. (When I purchased it 14-15 years ago, I was told it was "probably over 30 years old.") Please understand the deterioration and unique texture of antiques and make your purchase with that in mind. Please note that I may suddenly remove this item from sale as I am taking some of my unsold items to a recycling shop. I will strive for a pleasant transaction. Instant purchase is also OK, but please read the profile section before purchasing. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to ask in the comments section, and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thank you very much.
