Size: 37.5 x 39.5 cm This is a handmade item made as a hobby. The sashiko pattern is a cross flower design on emerald green sheeting fabric. It can be used as a blindfold, a mat, or a tea towel. The thread ends are secured with a knot. To prevent the thread ends from appearing on the back (photo 4), the edges of the cloth are sewn with a "U" stitch to conceal the knots and prevent fraying. The fabric has been pre-washed to remove the markings from the initial design. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for the perfection of a mass-produced product, as this is handmade.
