This is a cutting board made from Kishu-grown hinoki. Kishu hinoki is known for its hardness and tight grain. We use cut-off pieces of hinoki used in construction materials, so we can obtain high-quality hinoki at a lower price than usual, allowing us to offer it at a lower cost.
