Flex-on dressage stirrups. They don't open by hand, but are safety stirrups that open in the event of a fall. I've never fallen with these stirrups, so they've never opened. The foot step part is like a spike, which makes it stable to step on the stirrups. Also, when wearing these stirrups, your heel won't go too low or too high, resulting in the proper ankle angle.
