Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Department of Social Policy and Science, Faculty of Sociology, Hosei University in 2005. She is one of the young photographers who has been attracting attention in recent years, including winning an award at the "Seiryu no Kuni Gifu Art Festival," an open call exhibition held at the Gifu Prefectural Museum of Art (Gifu City) in 2018. She works in a mountain hut in Gifu Prefecture for nearly half the year, and has been pointing her lens at the fantastic scenery she encounters while walking in the mountains. Her works, born from this environment, have a lot of blank space and are serene, as if leaving room for the viewer's imagination. Through dialogue with the viewers, Takasaki has come to wish, "Someday, I would like to have a place where I can be surrounded by my own works and face the silence."
