I'm not sure of the specific model number, but it has an atmosphere similar to the VB-165. The previous owner purchased it new from a musical instrument store in Shinjuku about 42 years ago. It's been very well-preserved, and the exterior is in quite beautiful condition. The sound is fine, and there's no crackling. I've used it live, and the tone that only a violin bass can produce is very pleasant. The pickguard has been removed, but I have the parts and can provide them. Below are the details passed on from the previous owner: (Body) ◾ Front, back, and sides are clean. 　There are a few minor scratches from handling that can be seen depending on the light.
