It seems that during the early stages of the Cultural Revolution, Wu Lin Shao Zhigyan's traditional brush factory name was rejected by the Red Guards, and it was renamed Zhejiang Gongyi. I'm not sure when they started using the name Wu Lin Shao Zhigyan again after the end of the Cultural Revolution, but since the 90s, they have been producing high-quality brushes under the market economy.
