In addition to the instrument itself, the following items are included: ・Mouthpiece (PLAYTECH. For short cornet. Unused) ・Hard case (for transportation) This is a long (American type) cornet that was once manufactured by Yamaha. It was also a discontinued "College Model" instrument, and its grade is considered to be beginner to intermediate. It is an instrument that emphasizes ease of playing and sound production, and I think it is suitable for students and beginners. Also, since it is smaller than a trumpet, it might be good for children to practice with, as it can be difficult for them to play the trumpet due to their physique. In terms of tone, it gives a slightly softer impression than a trumpet. By using a mouthpiece for a short (British type) cornet, it is also possible to produce a tone closer to that of a short cornet. (I didn't have a long cornet mouthpiece, so I'm including a mouthpiece for a short cornet.) Long cornets are often used in jazz, but personally, I think it would be interesting to play pieces by American composers in a wind orchestra. (The cornet specified by American composers is often a long cornet.) For the listing, I have cleaned the inside of the tubes with a neutral detergent and cleaner. After cleaning, I have greased it and confirmed that it produces sound, so I think you can use it immediately.
