A tin whistle from the Killarney workshop in Ireland, a brass D whistle. I acquired this used, so the exact production year is unknown, but the absence of a logo on the head joint suggests it's from a very early production run. In my personal experience, this whistle produces clear high notes with little breath. On the other hand, it has a strong resistance when blown, and it took some getting used to when transitioning from high to low notes. The edges are a bit jagged, but I haven't noticed any issues like a muddy sound. I've been wiping it down regularly, but there is overall discoloration typical of brass. Polishing would likely restore its shine, but it will be sold as-is. Please refer to the photos for further details.
