This is a calligraphy written by the late Koichi Tsukamoto, the founder of Wacoal. My mother was a designer under Mr. Tsukamoto, and I received this through that connection. I myself also assisted as an employee of a related company at Mr. Tsukamoto's funeral. Although it is a valuable item, it has become difficult to store as I get older, so I am offering it to someone who will cherish it. I feel that the strength of the character "Tsuranuku" (to persevere) encapsulates Mr. Tsukamoto's turbulent life. I received it framed, so I am considering sending it as is, but if you only want the shikishi board (cardboard), I will offer a 500 yen discount, so please leave a comment if you wish. Due to the item's age of half a century, there is some deterioration due to aging (images 6, 7, and 8).
