This Chagake Enso Mushin is a genuine calligraphy by the former abbot Myodo Togami of Kisshozan Gyokuryuji Temple, Daitokuji School, Rinzai Zen sect. The seal is "Seisei Cho." Accessories: Comes with a matching box and a tatow box. ~What is Enso?~ The content of enlightenment, which is difficult to express in words, is often provisionally expressed in poetry, but Enso rejects even that. It shows the state of serene nothingness, rejecting all attributes while still possessing all virtues in perfection. If one were to try to visualize it, one would draw a circle. ~What is Mushin?~ In Zen, Mushin refers to a state of mind that has abandoned attachment and ego. It does not mean that there is no mind, but rather a state of mind that transcends all relative thoughts and discriminations.
