I made this obi (sash) from an antique pull-through obi, as it was difficult to display the pattern. It's a cut-and-sew obi, pre-tied in the otaiko style. I attend a Japanese sewing class, but this is a modification made by an amateur. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details. It can be returned to a single obi by undoing the stitching. It's one of my favorites, but I'm selling it to organize my chest of drawers. There are minor imperfections typical of antiques, but no major flaws to note. The original obi's length was approximately 388cm. Silk I have inspected it, but as I am an amateur, I may have overlooked something. If you are looking for a new, pristine condition, please purchase a new one from a store.
