For example, if you play palm-muted riffs, tremendous sound pressure will be output from the amp at high speed. The controls are Volume (top left), Gain (top right), Bottom (center), Treble (small knob), and Mid-Cut inside the chassis. The Volume and Gain have a wide effective range, while Bottom controls the low frequencies that affect sound pressure, and Treble subtly adjusts a portion of the high frequencies. The 9/9 has very high tonal versatility and was loved by players of many genres. The distortion texture is fine-grained and classic, with good responsiveness to guitar volume and touch. The effectiveness of each control is excellent, offering a wide range of sound variations. And it is overwhelmingly low noise.
