This is a Ryukyu glass bud vase. It can also be used as an ornament. It has a unique design, like a bow tie or ribbon threaded through the collar of a blouse. The form, which fits snugly in the palm of your hand, is adorable. I received it as a gift for a celebration from someone from Okinawa, but we don't have a culture of displaying flowers in our home, so it has been stored in the pantry for many years. I believe it is in beautiful condition, without any scratches or stains.
