This is a gathered skirt remade from an Oshima Tsumugi haori (outer garment). It has 10 tucks, which helps to reduce bulk around the waist. The material is neither too thick nor too thin, so I think it can be worn regardless of the season. It's hard to tell in the photos, but the base color is dark navy. It features a hemp leaf and flower pattern. The opening for the elastic is centered (front or back can be adjusted to your preference). Made after home cleaning. This is a handmade item by an amateur. There may be residual odors, color transfer, stains, and needle holes characteristic of old fabrics. There may be creases upon delivery. They can be improved with a light press of an iron.
