This is a handwritten collection of all 100 poems from the "Etchu Manyo Hyakka" (Volumes 1 and 2) by a Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition) Associate Calligraphy artist (35 selections for Nitten). (Washi paper, calligraphy created in Reiwa 5) "Etchu Manyo Hyakushu" is a collection of poems from the Manyoshu (Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves), specifically those composed in Etchu Province (present-day Toyama Prefecture). The Takaoka City Board of Education and the Takaoka Kojyo Lions Club spearheaded the creation of the "Etchu Manyo Karuta" (playing cards) to promote familiarity with the Manyoshu.
