This is a set of sencha utensils used for practicing the senchado tea ceremony. The set includes 5 teacups, a hobin (teapot), and a yuzamashi (water cooler), for a total of 7 pieces. They feature a white porcelain design with fish motifs. I acquired them new over 20 years ago and used them for about a year, approximately 10 times. They have been stored in their box since then. There are no chips or cracks, and they are in beautiful condition. The original paper box has some scuffs and stains. Sizes: * Hobin: Diameter approx. 9.3cm, including spout approx. 11.8cm, base diameter approx. 4.8cm, body height approx. 5.2cm * Yuzamashi: Diameter approx. 7.8cm, including spout approx. 7cm, height approx. 4cm * Teacups: Diameter approx. 5.8cm, height approx. 4cm The white porcelain makes it easy to see the color of the tea, and the temperature of the water is easily felt, making them comfortable to hold. This easy-to-handle sencha set is perfect for practicing the tea ceremony. The items will be wrapped in cushioning material and shipped in their original paper box via anonymous Takkyubin (home delivery service), with a fragile sticker attached. I may use recycled newspaper and cardboard for packaging materials.
