Tamiya 1/20 McLaren Ford MP4/8 This is a plastic model kit of the McLaren Ford MP4/8, which, despite its underpowered engine, achieved great success, including overtaking Prost and Hill at the legendary Donington Park in the rain, achieving five consecutive wins at Monaco, and winning Senna's final race (and Prost's retirement race) at McLaren's final race. This is the original edition package before it was changed to the black package. It is a full kit with removable cowling, reproducing the Ford HB V8 engine and radiators, and when assembled as is, it becomes the legendary Donington Park specification. The rear cowling and rear wing are molded in one piece, which is astonishing. This item is being sold as-is due to its poor condition, with the following defects: - Assembly instructions are missing (a copy of the instructions will be included). - The cowling is warped and requires correction. - The decals are cracked and deteriorated and cannot be used. - Some parts and tires have been opened from their plastic bags (they have been transferred to zip-lock bags). The package also has age-related damage such as scratches, yellowing, and dirt. There are no missing or broken parts, so it is possible to complete the model. However, we recommend it for parts or for use in dioramas, such as for the front and rear wings. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box.
