This is one of the best Leica R lenses, a pinnacle of old lenses used in digital cinema. It's a Leica R Summicron 50mm, which I've used and adapted for cinema. Based on the serial number, it's a Canadian-made lens from the peak of the R mount era in the 1980s (Summicron 50mm lenses from this period were manufactured in Canada). It has a Canon EF mount adapter attached, converting it from the original R mount. It has been used with leading digital cinema/hybrid cameras. Primarily with various RED cameras, and occasionally with Arri, Sony, and Blackmagic cameras. It can be used directly or with various adapters to fit most cameras. It was invaluable for leveraging image quality and character without the budget to rent top-tier PL lenses from equipment rental houses for tens of thousands of yen per day. The condition is as shown in the photos. While there is some dust and debris, there is no mold, and the image quality is not affected. I believe it's in very good condition.
