This is a plate I purchased from an antique art dealer in Tokyo about 20 years ago. I was fond of the five-petaled flower in the center and the surrounding negative space of the clouds, which is why I brought it home. It's like a bright night, where you can make out the outlines of the clouds. It's a rare composition. The body features a simply drawn arabesque pattern. The rim is iron-glazed. There is a small chip on the rim. There are few scratches. Otherwise, it appears to be kiln marks. Please check the images carefully. Size: Width: Approximately 20 cm Height: Approximately 3 cm
