It has a lining and I think it's a little warm. There are no noticeable stains or scratches on the outer fabric, but the lining has some pilling from use (see photo 3). The hood is removable. I think it will be easy to use from now on. This is a used item that a child has worn, so please understand that it is a pre-owned item before purchasing.
