This is a Panasonic handrail, model "MFE1L WHWY," purchased new online several years ago. The color of the handrail (wooden bar) is "WHWY," which is "White Oak." However, the original manufacturer's specifications had a thin paint coat, allowing the wood grain to be visible. I wanted to match the pure white color of the wall in my home, so I repainted it with off-white spray paint over the White Oak. (The bracket hardware is originally white and has not been repainted.) The repainting was done by myself, so it's not immediately noticeable, but upon close inspection, there may be slight unevenness. Please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern. The handrail bar is 50 cm long, but the dimensions after attaching the brackets are 60 cm on each side (length and width). The screws for attaching the brackets are unopened and all present. The instruction manual and installation guide are included, but they are wrinkled as shown in the photos. The original box has marks from the shipping label, etc. Would this be suitable for installation in an entryway or toilet due to your own back pain or for cohabitating with the elderly?
