This is a lacquered writing box from Sakurai Shikki, received in 1993. It is a work by Osamine Watanabe, a traditional craft maki-e artist. The wrapping paper and outer box have stains due to aging (photos 15-17), but the main body is in beautiful condition as it has been stored in a storehouse unused (although unused, it is not new, so I have listed it as "near new"). Size (approximate): 33cm x 24cm x 12cm It is convenient as it can store A4 size items with a margin of about 1cm (photo 12). The name and date of the person who gave it are written on the instruction manual (photo 13). Please consider purchasing, understanding that this item has been stored at home for a long time.
