Vintage Mitsuwa Model Power Boat Completed Product with Outboard Motor, Unused, Operation Confirmed
This is a plastic model (completed product) of a boat made by Mitsuwa Model, which was popular in the Showa era as a "boat to play with in the bath."
It is a rare completed product from a series released as a manufacturer's completed product in the past, handmade by craftsmen.
It is an unused dead stock item, with no missing parts or damage, and a display stand is also included.
The outboard motor also works without any problems. (Image 7)
It uses two AA batteries, so powerful running can be expected.
The package says "F-1 GP," but it is a model of a "powerboat," which is called the F1 of the sea, and is very similar to Japanese boat racing.
It is the red-bodied Thunderbird type, one of three types available.
Although there is no scale notation, it is a 1/20 to 1/24 scale size, so it might be interesting to display it alongside an F1 machine.
There is no damage to the contents, but the package has age-related wear and tear, such as scratches, discoloration, and stains.
Re-release is unlikely, and it is currently very difficult to obtain, so how about it for those who were looking for it or collectors?
It will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a cardboard box for shipping.
