It is unlined and made from a single layer of fabric. This season's fabric is wool melton from a long-established textile mill dating back to the 1700s. It is a relatively light (650 gsm) medium-weight fabric, similar to the fabric used in the early models of this coat (imagine about 70% the thickness of GLOVERALL's MONTY).
