This was made a few years ago, inspired by the Formula No. 5 layout that was published online as a hobby. The parts are assembled using currently available components. Regarding the sound, I don't own the real thing, so I can't compare, but it's a drive sound that seems to emphasize the low end. The circuit is point-to-point wiring and true bypass. It cannot be battery-powered. Please use a center-negative 9V adapter. ★Please note that it will not work with a center-positive adapter. The enclosure is aluminum die-cast. The paint has unevenness and peeling. To reiterate, this was made as a hobby, so I cannot guarantee the sound quality or operation.
